INTRODUCTION

Aboriginal Ranger Program Round 9 Activate Fund Application Form

The Aboriginal Ranger Program (ARP) Round 9 Activate Fund is designed to support groups within Western Australia that have already conducted detailed ranger related planning and are ready to employ new Aboriginal rangers at some stage.

The Round 9 Grant Guidelines (available on the ARP webpage under Funding Opportunities) have been produced to provide detail to applicants about:

  • Eligibility
  • What can be funded
  • Required approvals and/or permissions
  • The assessment criteria and process
  • Your obligations if your application is successful.

You should read the Round 9 Grant Guidelines carefully before starting this application to make sure your organisation is eligible and your proposal is suitable.

This is a competitive funding round, meaning your application will be assessed using the assessment criteria and compared to other applications. There are a number of required attachments in the form, and failure to complete the form properly may impact the success of your application.

Please note that there will be room at the end of the application form to upload any other documentation that you think may support your application.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 5:00pm Monday 9 March 2026 (AWST).

Applications can only be submitted online via DBCA's SmartyGrants portal. Applications will not be accepted by email or post, or after the closing time.
